Well here it is. Pictures on the left side are before my rhinoplasty and pictures on the right are after my rhinoplasty. I took the after photos on Friday, so post op day 14. My bruising is completely gone! I am however swollen. My nose is still very swollen, so in the coming weeks and months it will continue to get smaller (at least I hope). That’s what Dr.Coscia said.

For people wondering what I had was a “dorsal hump removal.” I also had my nasal bones fractured in order to prevent an open roof deformity. I also had my tip lifted a little because it slightly drooped.

I’m a little hard on myself right now because when I look at it I know it’s a drastic change from before, but it still appears slightly big because of all the swelling. In due time I guess.

It was worth it if you’re wondering. It wasn’t painful just uncomfortable. Right now I’m a little stuffy and I still can’t go out swimming or spend too much time in the sun (so much for summer).

But oh well. Summer 2016 will forever be remembered as the summer I got my amazing new nose!

I’m still not pleased with the way I was treated by a specific staff member at The Plastic Surgery Center, but Dr.Coscia did his job. Hs job was to give me what I wanted which was to remove the stupid ugly hump off my nose without botching me and he did. It’s amazing. I can’t deny it. Most people can’t even tell I had my nose done! Even more amazing.

I had my fucking nasal bones fractured, and I didn’t bruise like hell. Have you ever googled photos of rhinoplasty? I was expecting to bruise a lot worse, but I didn’t. It could be good genes. It could be that my plastic surgeon did one hell of a job too. I’d say it’s a little of both.

And if you’re wondering do I recommend Dr.Coscia, yes. However it’s important to set up several consultations with a variety of surgeons to make the best informed decision you can. Especially if you’re thinking about undergoing a rhinoplasty it’s your face you know and you only have one.
